Adding domains to your hosting plan

If your domain and hosting company different you have to make connection with hosting and domain. If your hosting allows multi domain in your c panel than you have to set addon domain 

What is an addon domain?

The cPanel “Addon Domains” feature allows you to manage multiple domains from a single hosting account. Unlike with Parked domains, Addon domains are expected to be completely different websites all hosted inside the same cPanel account. You can also create additional sub-accounts (for example, email addresses) for your addon domains.

How to add more domains to your hosting plan

  1. Log into your hosting cPanel.
  2. Click on Addon Domains, located under the Domains section.
  1. Enter in the domain in the New Domain Name section.
  2. Once the domain is entered, click The Subdomain field and the Document Root (usually public_html/ will automatically fill in. Check “Create an FTP account associated with this Addon Domain” if you want an FTP added. The FTP account would only have access to that specific Addon domain and nothing more.
  1. Click Add Domain.

Even if you click on the File Manager link, you will see the default file in that folder.

How To Set name server before set addon domains

  1. Log into the domain control panel.
  2. Click DNS settings on the Advanced settings tile.
  3. Go to Name servers.
  4. Select the option Change to custom name servers.
  5. Enter the first name server. 
  6. Repeat the process for your second name server.
  7. Click Save 

If everything is correct, then the name servers will be changed within 5 minutes. However, it can take up to 24 hours until the changes are in effect.
